Practicing Skills with Literacy Stations

Exploration Station-
Blending colors with color paddles and write color word on a white board.

Fine Motor Station-
Use tweezers to put beads in an egg carton. Have the students read the number word.

Handwriting Station-
I made these sheets for free on Lakeshore learning. I then laminated them. The kids use dry erase markers on these.

ABC Station-
I stocked up my ABC station with lots of ABC books.

Name Station-
Stamp classmates names on paper strips.

The students try to figure out whose name is in the bottle. You can't see it very well but it is Evan.

White board Station-
The students are allowed to only write words or sentences. I provide word rings for them and they can also use the word wall.

Making Words Station-
The kids used a magnifying glass to read the tiny words.

Research demonstrates that perusing books is intense, however really having them is significantly more essential. Fruitful perusing regularly demonstrates a home library of books. I assume this includes the visual nearness, the lined walk crosswise over racks, the beautiful spines, the connecting with text style and style of words, or more all the draw of delineations. cash advance san-diego
