This is a great book for teaching poetry! There are several versions out for different grade levels. Currently my kiddos are working on their own treasury of poems. I'll post pictures when we are done! They are loving this unit...I think it's because it gives them a break from the normal conventions of writing!

I used the first grade version for my classroom. I copied her poems and my old students' poems and put them on the overhead as examples of first grade writing. I've used it for two years now and I LOVE it!
